Welcome to the In Fact website, the online home for readers of “In Fact: You are One-Third Daffodil” who haven’t had their factual appetites sated—and anyone else with a hunger for the quirky, the surprising and (occasionally) the crude.
As you’ll probably have guessed, this site is still a work in progress. For now you’ll find this In Fact blog, with details of author interviews and appearances, In Fact-related news, and a link to the Random House website, from where you’ll be able to buy all those copies of In Fact you’ll be needing as Christmas presents. But we have big plans for the site, including a database of facts—gold dust for pub quiz compilers—and facilities for fact fans to submit their own factual contributions.
In Fact is published today in all good bookshops. But the search for the world’s finest facts goes on every month in Prospect magazine, home to the In Fact column.
Please feel free to comment below. I’d love to know what you think of the book, and I am braced for the inevitable tsunami of corrections, clarifications and general abuse.

First!
But seriously: saw this in the current issue, and laughed out loud. Shame you didn’t print it in time for the book…
